Survival of the Fittest

Yoshiro waits for the Samurai to get back. All do eventually and they start to cut down the trees to make a fort. The sound of the chainsaws rings throughout the city along with the soft hack from the axes.

"Come on boys... we have to finish this by the end of this week!"

Project/Fortress is 25% complete after 3 months.

Yoshiro watches as his fort takes shape and is finally finished at the end of that week. Parapettes and battlements are added for siege warefare and small homes are built for housing. One large building is made to house the various weapons that the Samurai have.

"It looks like it is finished, now we must think of what to do next."

A large flag is errected in the middle of the courtyard in the fort that bears the emblem of the Tokugawa Clan.

"This shall be our home for now."

Yoshiro watches as more hunters go out to get more food on the outskirts of the city.

"They should be back before nightfall."

Battlements are made around the fort so if they are invaded, Ashigaru Riflemen can fire apon the enemy. Samurai go to guard the fort while the others sleep or have a scant dinner.

-Areas are set up as outposts and projects and construction are coming along nicely-

When the samurai come back, they bring the food back to the mesh hall and the rest go to eat supper and rest.

Workers start on createing a Hot Spring at the edge of the fort for relaxation for those off duty.

Yoshiro stays up for guard duty on the Fort Battlements.

"Hopefully no one will know that there is our civilization out here..."

When the winter closes in on the City, the Samurai start to steal insulation from the city for their homes and also chopping down more wood for large bon fires.

"We will have to make it through this winter."

The Hot Springs begin to get even more popular because of the cold.

Zombies from the graveyard appear and begin destroying areas one by one-

From the watchtower, the guards spot smoke rising from in the city and screams in the night.

"What the heck could be going on in that city?"

{Guard} "I don't know sir, my Lord... but we have 2 Samurai out there now getting supplies."

"WHAT! Are they armed?"

{Guard} "Only with a short knife for hunting my Lord."

"Crap... It looks like I'll be going in to get them out then."

Yoshiro arms himself with his long Tachi, his two katanas, and a Arisaka Rifle.

Yoshiro moves into the city quietly and quickly after donning his Samurai Armor.

"I must be very stealthy if I wish to evade these monsters."

Samurai still at the fort put on extra guards incase of invasion while Yoshiro is away.

Yoshiro slowly unsheaths his Katana and goes behind a zombie. He instantly impales it through the head, effectivly killing it. After cleaning his blade from blood, he starts off again down alleyways to find his fellow Samurai.

Runs to yet another alley way and beheads an incoming zombie with a easy slice with his katana.

Yoshiro finally casts away all of his saftey to call on his Samurai. He uses Japanese so that others wouldn't know what he was yelling if there were spies around.

(In Japanese) "Makoto! Kachiru!! Where are you!?"

Minutes later, yelling in Japanese comes across the air, which Yoshiro hears. He hurries toward the location of the yelling hoping to get there before the zombies could kill them.
